Healum CEO and Co-founder Jonathan Abraham was invited to present to clinicians at the cardiac rehabilitation innovation exchange, a showcase event in London on 11 February 2019, where Healum also exhibited.

The event focused on making the most of digital opportunities in cardiac rehabilitation. It was organised by the British Heart Foundation, the London Cardiac Clinical Network, the Health Innovation Network and the DigitalHealth.London Accelerator.

Why it mattered

It brought together leaders, clinicians and innovators, from industry and the NHS, to:

  • Discuss the challenges and opportunities of using digital innovation in cardiac rehabilitation
  • Share what’s being learned from current work across London
  • Meet digital companies working to improve access and patient outcomes, promote self-management and prevention, and increase efficiency

On the day

Anna King opened with a welcome and an introduction to the Health Innovation Network and the DigitalHealth.London Accelerator. Six companies then presented their innovations, and the SMEs heard from guest speakers and stakeholders and joined the panel and audience discussions.

The day ended with a panel on the vision for cardiac rehabilitation over the next 10 years, followed by networking.
